Can Empathy Be Learned?

June 29, 2015 by Ocean Palmer Leave a Comment

Sympathy and empathy are different emotional tracks. Sympathy involves expressing sorrow over someone’s plight, while empathy is being able to relate to their situation.

I read an article this morning from BBC Magazine authored by empathy specialist Roman Krznaric that is so outstanding I thought I’d simply post the link. Here it is:  http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-33287727.

As you read this wonderful piece, remember that it is up to each of us to be positive in the lives of others. I trust this information will help.
