WGTPB has been critically acclaimed from coast-to-coast, most recently by the the New York Times and Orange County Register. Gregg and I are already working on a second volume, which is planned for national release on Opening Day, 2014. We have approximately 60 stories already in hand for volume two, with a dozen or so more promised by All Stars and Hall of Famers.
Printed Copies:
Gregg will sign and personalize printed copies of WGTPB for fans who order the book through his business website (www.ToolShedUSA.com). Click the “BOOK” link on the left toolbar and send signing instructions with your order.
We have a limited number of signed books available and will be able to fulfill orders for Christmas season delivery through December 10th. After that, we’ll do our best.
A sincere tip of the cap to all of you who have supported this fun book since its release. We had a great time collaborating on WGTPB and have gotten a lot of enjoyment hearing from readers which stories they enjoyed most. The answers are widespread, which tells us the collection is as rich as we thought while writing it.
“We Got to Play Baseball” is an ideal travel book, a perfect pick-it-up, put-it-down short story collection for anyone curious about Major League Baseball and life through the lens of those who played it. Stories were left up to the contributors. They range from laugh out loud funny to poignant and introspective. It’s a great collection every baseball fan will enjoy
Thanks a million. And may the best ball club be dog-piling near the mound at the end of the World Series.
